Poppy Neame, 29, performed Dame Vera Lynn’s famous wartime song in her parents’ garden to pay tribute to the sacrifices of those who fought in the Second World War.
Having already performed patriotic classics such as Rule Britannia before, the London-trained opera singer was keen to share her performance to boost the morale of the city’s residents.

She said: “It’s a massive day, very patriotic for my dad and my dad’s twin brother but also, we live in Fordingbridge where there’s quite a lot of OAPs so naturally this is quite an important day for them and I just wanted to do something to celebrate for them.
